Sustainability

At 3113, sustainability is not a feature, it's the foundation. The brand is built on a commitment to reducing waste through upcycling and experimental textile innovation. All materials are carefully hand-sourced by real people from deadstock suppliers, charity shops, second-hand markets, and vintage stalls each piece chosen not just for its potential, but for the story it brings. This hands-on approach ensures that every garment is one-of-a-kind, grounded in authenticity, and driven by a human connection to the material.

We know that no brand can ever be 100% sustainable, but at 3113, we’re trying to get as close as possible not just in how we design, but in how we think. Sustainability for us means creating a better future in the face of a world that often feels like it’s falling apart. Through our work, we aim to educate and empower our buyers to make more conscious choices to understand the impact of their wardrobes and see fashion as a form of resistance, care, and long-term change.

Vision for a sustainable future

Looking ahead, 3113 is committed to deepening its sustainable impact through continued innovation, education, and collaboration. We aim to develop even more low-waste design techniques, expand our use of alternative and biodegradable materials, and create transparent supply chains that reflect our values. Beyond the garments themselves, we want to build a community that understands the power of conscious fashion where creativity and sustainability go hand in hand. As the world changes, so will we always evolving, always questioning, and always striving to do better.

Tin cans become delicate, feather-like embellishments, and old bedsheets are transformed into couture level ruffles, rich with the memory of past lives. This process of reinvention gives voice to the overlooked, turning waste into powerful symbols of emotion and identity. For 3113, sustainability is more than environmental it’s a rebellion against systemic waste in all its forms.

The ruffles in 3113’s designs transform discarded materials, like tin cans, vintage shirts, and old bedsheets, into bold symbols of beauty and rebellion. Salvaged from second hand sources and “collected like a magpie,” these elements mimic ceremonial grandeur while representing emotional rupture, subverting traditional ideas of power and fashion.

3113 upcycles discarded denim into sculptural, high-fashion pieces that blend streetwear with couture. By reshaping second hand denim, 3113 gives new life to a humble material, turning waste into bold expressions of emotion, rebellion, and craftsmanship.

Transformation of tin and drink cans into delicate, flower-like embellishments. Carefully cut, shaped, and treated by hand, the metal is reimagined into sculptural petals that mimic the softness of real flowers while retaining an industrial edge. These upcycled metal flowers add texture, contrast, and meaning turning waste into wearable art that challenges ideas of beauty, fragility, and sustainability.

3113 repurposes discarded rope and metal into bold, sustainable fashion. Climbing ropes and scrap metals are sculpted into structural details and embellishments, blending utility with artistry. These elements reduce waste while redefining luxury through raw, industrial materials.
